Trolls Birthday Party Idea

I’ve been daydreaming about planning a Trolls party since the day Lady Glitter Sparkles came into my life. My friends’ twins were turning 6 and they both love everything Trolls so I practically begged her to let me jump on their birthday party train so we could throw them the biggest, the loudest, the craziest party ever!

A pathway of balloons which were staked into the grass using golf tees led the guests up to the front entrance. The twins were able to invite 5 friends each for a total of 12 kids. My side kick party planner Desiree sewed up some troll dresses & vests for the kids to pick from when they arrived followed by some face painting. We set up two kids tables one geared towards Princess Poppy for the girls and one geared toward Branch for the boys. Shindigz had the perfect Poppy plates for the girls table and I added some grass mats I cut out of fake grass to add an extra layer. A simply white hydrangea centerpiece was the perfect touch once I added some small disco balls and a Princess Poppy flower pick. Scattered confetti, napkins & twine wrapped silverware finished out all the details. The boys table featured one of my favorite décor pieces of the party. I wracked my brain trying to think of a centerpiece for the boys table, so I sat down to watch the movie for some inspiration. There’s a scene where Branch is in his bunker and it shows all these survivor supplies and jars where he claims he would store his sweat and drink it if he had to. I thought it was hilarious, so I filled up some glass jars with water and added a few painted rocks similar to the ones in his bunker as well and the boys’ centerpiece was perfect.

The kids ate homemade pizzas, chips & rainbow fruit skewers. We served Princess Poppy Punch & Blue Branch Brute. I hand painted and decorated 14 glass jars to look like different troll characters from the movie and the kids got to pick their own. Guy diamond was probably my favorite, but I was quite happy when my daughter insisted on having the Lady Glitter Sparkles glass.

After the kids ate they hit up the "fun" dance party room and also ventured outside to play in bubble mania then beat on the rainbow piñata. More dance party ensued afterwards as well as lots of Hug Time. It was then time to sing Happy Birthday and enjoy some cupcakes. Guests got to take home goodie bags full of bubbles, candy, slinkies, pencils & lollipops along with their dress or vest. It was a day full of cupcakes & rainbows and I think Princess Poppy would have approved.
