I’m excited to share with you guys my latest party, a boho inspired 11th birthday for my good friends daughter Ella. Ella loves to craft so I knew the Sweetest Dreams party line would be perfect to work in a dreamcatchers craft project.
I started the décor in the front yard with a simple personalized yard sign for the birthday girl. Then once around back we had a table decked out for the dreamcatcher crafting. I used the personalized placemats to let the guests know we would be making own own dreamcatcher. We provided them with their own hoop, crocketed doily, scissors and ribbon strips. I used the personalized candy tubes to store beads for them to keep things more organized and the personalized favor bags were great for keeping the feathers nice and neat.
In the back corner I set up a large Teepee for additional seating and crafting space. I dressed up the teepee with a large balloon garland using the rose bright tone balloons and a small dreamcatcher hanging from the front. This also doubled as a music space and to display the kraft gift bags. I draped a wooden crate with coral gossamer fabric as a runner and used the sweet dreams personalized stickers to make a thank you tag for the front of the gift bag. I also had out a few dreamcatcher keychains as extra favors also some fun tambourines and rain sticks I made.
The kids table was low to the ground and surround with comfy pillows for everyone to sit on. I draped it with a lace runner and used the sweetest dreams table top it runner right down the middle. It made for a fun centerpiece since I was able to customize it to say whatever I liked. I wanted to add a touch of greenery to the centerpiece so I clipped some branches from the garden and made a few arrangements in yarn wrapped bottles for vases. I draped one of the dreamcatcher keychains from the vases and It gave it that finishing touch. I added a turquoise tealight holder for use with my flickering tealights to both groupings of flowers. I used the sweet dreams dinner plates, fresh mint napkins & gold cutlery for each place setting.
The dessert table was set up directly behind the kids table which made for a great backdrop. My friend had some leftover wood pallets so we used those as a backdrop with a large dreamcatcher as the main focus point. I set out the sweetest dreams dessert plates, coral forks & classic pink napkins for ease later when cutting the cake. Using the personalized cupcake wrappers & cupcake picks helped dress up the simple white cupcakes. We had a delicious chocolate cake with a crystal and succulent topper and a mixed variety of macarons as well. The personalized candy wrappers added a nice favor to the treats table for everyone to take home later.
Off to the right of the kids table was the food table. Using a coral ombre tablecloth with numerous dreamcatchers hanging off the front we displayed the drinks & food. Sweet Dreams water bottle labels dressed up our water bottle table and I grouped a few coral & pink honeycomb balls at the bottom to add a pop of color to the ground. We served pink lemonade next to our jar mugs for the kids to help themselves. I decorated the jar mugs with white feathers and twine. To add a personalized touch to the food table I used the Sweet Dreams cutouts next to the food platters.
After the kids crafted & ate we gathered around to play some music in the teepee, sing happy birthday with sparklers & enjoy some cake!
